Paul Leidig (chapter president) and David Heinrich (responsible engineer in charge for the Guatemala program) from EWB-RMP recently attended the annual conference in Milwaukee, WI on October 5th and 6th. The conference includes technical seminars on topics ranging from innovative water solutions and community engaged development to details on the new country offices and the use of technology in development projects. In addition to the conference seminars, Dave also attended the EWB Board Meeting to learn more about EWB 2.0 at the board level. This year is the 15th anniversary of EWB-USA, and a celebration was held at the beautiful Milwaukee Art Museum. The conference is always an excellent time to network with other EWB members. Paul and Dave were able to meet with our various Guatemala program contacts to discuss current and future projects.
