Jason Schneider - Chapter President
Jason graduated from Iowa State University in 2005 with a degree in mechanical engineering. He has worked at US Engineering Construction for the past 17 years and is currently an Operations Director and has his PE in Colorado in mechanical. He oversees a portfolio of mechanical, plumbing and sheet metal projects across the Front Range in Colorado with a focus on education and institutional projects that are both new construction and complex renovations. Jason lives in Lafayette with his wife, Angie, and two dogs, Fry and Leela. He enjoys camping, skiing, fly fishing and the outdoors in general. Travel is a passion and he loves to experience new cultures and meet new people. Jason has been with the RMP chapter of EWB-USA since early 2022.
John Meyer - Chapter Vice President & Responsible Engineer in Charge
John joined EWB RMP in 2017. He is a water treatment process engineer with Carollo Engineers in Broomfield, CO. He has a BS in Environmental Engineering and an MS in Civil Engineering from the University of Colorado at Boulder. While at CU John was heavily involved with the student chapter and worked on several water and sanitation projects in northern Peru.
Alana Helin - Chapter Secretary
Alana joined EWB-RMP in Spring 2024. She has an MS in Civil Engineering and a BS in Environmental Engineering from UMN-Twin Cities and UW-Platteville, respectively. These programs led to her involvement in EWB-USA and several international trips, on one of which she met her husband, Dawood. She held various leadership positions with her student chapter and travelled to Ghana on a primary school implementation trip. She also serves as the Mountain Region VP and Agriculture Support Committee Vice Chair. Alana lives in Longmont with her husband, her cat Mowgli, and Wallace the tortoise. She enjoys travelling, hiking, dancing, reading, and trying new foods.

Chris Riley - Buena Vista Sechum Lead
Chris is a retired chemical engineer with 40+ years experience in design and construction in the process industries, with recent experience in upgrades of municipal water and wastewater treatment facilities. He has volunteered with EWB-USA student and professional chapters on the east coast and in Colorado for over 10 years, mainly on water system implementation and upgrade for indigenous communities. He has maintained a lifelong interest in fitness, and currently enjoys hiking and cycling in Colorado.
Kevin Monaweck - Xechulul Lead
Kevin graduated from the University of Central Florida with a BS in Environmental Engineering and is a licensed PE. Electing to skip graduate school, he gained industry experience in hydraulics, water quality, water treatment and renewable energy (also water-based) via a mix of public and consulting roles. Prior to graduating, Kevin’s experience ranged from surf instructor, to bar tender and even mobile video game truck driver. He enjoys time outdoors, time with friends, and most of all travel!
Parker Clark - PMEL Lead
Parker obtained his BS degree in Agricultural Engineering from The Ohio State University, specializing in soil and water. He currently works for CDM Smith as a Water Resources Engineer in Denver where he does FEMA Floodplain Mapping work. Before his time in Denver, Parker spent two years working for the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers in Washington State where he did open channel flow modeling. He recently got involved with Engineers Without Borders USA due to his passion for helping others, experiencing new cultures and places, and his wanting to help create better living conditions for all. Outside of work, he enjoys hiking, camping, trail running, reading, traveling and gardening. Parker currently lives in the Arvada, Colorado area and joined EWB-RMP in August of 2025.
